Discover Scuba

Discover â€‹Scuba isn't a certification, but it's an introduction to scuba diving. You'll learn basic scuba skills and take your first breaths underwater. It will help you decide if you want to pursue getting certified as an Open Water Diver. There is a brief classroom or e-learning component before learning skills and exploring in the water. For Non-certified divers only, this quick 2 to 3-hour course will certify you to enjoy scuba diving in Cozumel with Studio Blue!

Open Water Diver
Open Water Diver is the first level of scuba certification. You'll learn to dive in a relaxed and supportive environment and after completion, you'll be certified to dive to depths up to 60 feet or 18 meters. Becoming an Open Water Diver includes an e-learning/classroom component and a series of dives to learn specific skills. It usually takes about 4 days.

Advanced Open Water Diver

This course is all about advancing your skills. In this course, you'll improve your buoyancy and navigation, do a deep dive, and have to take several specialty dives to experience new aspects of diving. There is a classroom/e-learning component and the necessary diving usually takes 2-3 days.

Rescue Diver

The Rescue Diver course helps you identify issues and address them before they become major problems. It will improve your confidence as a diver, and many say it's their favorite course. There is a classroom/e-learning component and the diving requirements usually take 3-4 days. To take this course, you must have EFR Primary and Secondary training within the last 24 months.

Scuba Refresher

Your diving certification never expires, but if it's been a long time since you've been underwater, a refresher course will help you revisit essential skills so you feel confident in the water and dive safely.
